Chaotic airports
The trip took forever, about fifteen hours total! Flight one was about twenty-five minutes to the Vancouver airport. Where we took a taxi downtown to get our visas. Only my mom got out of the car , then the driver took us back to the airport. After and only after we went through security did my mom realize that her phone was missing. I know crazy right? Thankfully it was in the taxi and the driver was still at the airport. So my mom ran to go get her phone back and this was about eleven o'clock at night. Meanwhile me and my dad went on a search for dinner there was an A&W a subway Japanese food. Then there was this river of silver, (coins)and a really cool aquatic sea tank filled to the brim with sea life. We were going to the other side when my mom ran up hollering "STEVE STEVE OVER HERE!"We both turned around in astonishment as my mom came barreling down the ramp. I found help come with me guys she said excitedly. We both followed her up the ramp right over to a group of officers who began asking her questions like what type is the phone and what did the driver look like?A few minutes later a female officer came up and what do you know she was holding my mom's phone! After the phone fiasco we went back to trying to decide on what to have for dinner.it was 12 o'clock when we decided on Japanese food.Me and mom shared a bento box while my dad had wonton soup .They were both delicious as we headed back to our gate we said farewell to Canada well we waited until 1:30 in the morning by that time we were exhausted and ready to sleep. When we boarded the plane turns out there were 263 seats on the plane there were only 60 people on board as soon as my mom heard we could change seats she was up and off to another row .So naturally so did I When we lifted off we each had 3 seat televisions me and mom had tablets and my parents had phones .Bonus turns out my dad had secretly bought me sour patch kids for the plane we were so prepared for our ten hour flight! .
Though I hardly got any sleep on the plane no more then 2 hours at most we got 2 meals late dinner and breakfast. Dinner was spaghetti or chicken and rice my whole family chose option two.Breakfast was shrimp and rice or an omelet my parents chose #2 I chose #1 all the meals came with bread, fruit and a little side. When we were loading off the plane a nice lady handed me a bag with pretty little toys inside she said it was given to her by mistake as we walked into the Taiwanese airport we learned her name was Andre and that she was a travel nurse. Our gates were in opposite directions so we said goodbye and went to our gates my family and I had the whole day at this airport it was amazing lounges, stores everything !Our next flight left at 3:30 in the afternoon before that we went for coffee and hot chocolate when we met Andre again at the same place as us we talked for a while .Then she had to leave for her flight. My mom wanted to look for a travel bag so we did some shopping .We had dumplings, soup and other delicious delicacies for lunch then we went to a lounge with this cool surfing simulator! To be honest we got a little bored waiting around all day we did have lot's of fun though.By the time our flight was boarding we were ready to get to Vietnam. When we boarded we instantly realized that we were probably the only Canadian people on board the plane. The flight took about 2 and a half hours. When we arrived we had to fill out about 100 forms when we walked into the lobby we were hit by the familiar smell of Vietnam. Our friend son was supposed to be there to pick us up at the airport we were scanning the lobby for son when suddenly a man stood up and I said "hey isn't that son?"When they turned around turns out it was son!He took us back to this very apartment.
THAT IS THE EPIC STORY OF OUR JOURNEY TO THIS AMAZING COUNTRY!!!
